Passionate artist
For more than 25 years now, I express myself through various mediums inspired by precious moments of life spending time between Mountains and Shores. Self-taught artist from Eastern Townships, Quebec, Canada, I was born fascinated by art, first in drawings, pottery, crafts. I then attended the School of Fine Arts Saidye Bronfman Art Center in Montreal and participated in various workshops in watercolor, oil, acrylic, stained glass and many more.
I love to create colorful textured works by playing with the elements of nature and adopting a contemporary figurative style keeping my feet on the ground with a touch of reality. My favorite mediums are acrylic paint, paste and glaze and often add collages and drippings to my paintings. My recent work is inspired by the shores of St-Laurence River in Gaspésie Bas-St-Laurent, Lac Brome in the Eastern Townships and ski mountains mostly in the Chic Chocs, in Eastern Townships and in Quebec area.
Artiste-peintre passionnée
Depuis plus de 25 ans, je m'exprime à travers différents mediums en m’inspirant des moments précieux de la vie partageant mon temps entre Mer et Montagnes. Artiste-peintre autodidacte Québécoise originaire de l'Estrie, je me suis intéressée toute jeune à l’art d’abord par le dessin, la poterie, la couture et l’artisanat. J’ai ensuite fréquenté L’École des Beaux-Arts du Centre D’Art Saidye Bronfman de Montréal et participé à divers ateliers d’aquarelle, huile, acrylique, vitrail et autres.
J’adore créer des œuvres texturées et colorées en jouant avec les éléments de la nature en adoptant un style contemporain figuratif. Mes médiums préférés sont l’acrylique, la pâte à relief et le glacis. J'intègre parfois ces collages et drippings. Mes oeuvres récents ont été inspirés par les rives du Fleuve St-Laurent en Gaspésie Bas-St-Laurent et Lac Brome en Estrie et par les montagnes de ski notamment dans les Chic Chocs, en Estrie et en région de Québec.
